An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Technician to join our team here at Utilities Direct Limited

If you have a background within the Water industry, are pragmatic, computer competent, and can organise your own workload and work well within a team. Then this could be the perfect role for you:

Have experience in mains and service laying, are able to repair and carry out maintenance of water furniture.
The successful candidate will need to walk off sites with Site Managers, Ground Workers, and Water Companies
Create snagging lists and complete all remedial works to meet the requirements of Water Companies.
Organise sites to excavate to enable you to complete the works that have been highlighted.
Arrange final walk offs with Water Companies to confirm completion of mains work
Carry out as laid drawings using the Geo location equipment. Training can be provided

Qualifications:
NCO Level2 mains and service laying
Shea water card
Water Hygiene card
CMRC competent person is an advantage but not essential
Driving licence – company vehicle will be provided
Trained First Aider also an advantage

Salary is dependant on experience
